Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead a team responsible for design and implementation of low voltage electrical systems and cable management, including AC/DC design and cable sizing, with collaboration across internal groups, clients and vendors. The role is hybrid with onsite work two days per week.

• Engage with external customers, partners and WEC senior management as required.
• Support prioritization of engineering tasks by assessing project objectives, execution time, and implementation costs.
• Ensure best practices, lessons learned, & improvement are realized in project performance and margins.
• Provide management team information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering data and trends.

About the role:

As a Lead Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for leading a work group responsible for the design and implementation of low voltage electrical systems and cable management including AC and DC electrical system design, cable sizing, application of digital design processes for cable and termination management, and collaboration with internal electrical groups, other disciplines, clients, and vendors.

You will report to the Manager, Large Project Electrical Systems and Equipment and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversite and direction to a distributed team of engineers and designers.

Qualifications:

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
