  • Design industrial communication networks using EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET.
  • Integrate machine-safety systems, including emergency stops, light curtains, safety relays, safety circuits, and safety PLCs.
  • Review electrical drawings, equipment specifications, vendor submittals, and contractor documentation.
  • Conduct field installation audits for design quality and National Electrical Code compliance.
  • Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Work with mechanical, controls, software, project management, construction, and site teams.
  • Develop reusable electrical standards, specifications, and design templates.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ of electrical design experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling.
  • Experience designing three-phase and single-phase power distribution systems.
