Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical controls and power systems for industrial refrigeration projects. You will produce drawings, perform calculations, and ensure designs meet client and internal standards.

Based in Lyndhurst, VA, this in-house role supports fabrication, installation, and commissioning across North America. A strong CAD background and PE/ME potential are valued as you drive high-quality, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical system design.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring pre-employment and regular drug testing.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electrical controls and power systems for industrial projects.
• Produce design drawings and documentation using CAD programs.
• Complete electrical design calculations and BOMs.
• Support installation and ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Coordinate with fabrication and purchasing teams.
