Job summary

General Dynamics Bath Iron Works is seeking a Front Line Supervisor, Electrical - Combat Test to lead electrical operations for ship/unit construction. You will coach mechanics, drive safety, ensure quality, and manage daily tasks using BOS processes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in marine electrical combat testing, knowledge of test procedures, and experience with lock-out/tag-out practices. A government security clearance is required or obtainable within 45 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: College level training or military A-school electrical training.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: Champion BIW safety culture and enforce safety standards across operations.
• Project Execution: Lead electrical construction activities to support ship/unit schedules.
• Operational Management: Provide technical guidance and ensure accountability of tasks and goals.
• Mentoring & Team Development: Mentor mechanics and ensure procedures are well-documented.
• Continuous Improvement: Focus on quality and apply BOS principles to sustain improvements.
