Job summary

Codan Limited seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to shape the next generation of rugged, military-grade electronic and embedded systems.

You will define architectures, lead mixed-signal and power electronics design, mentor senior engineers, and influence product roadmaps while ensuring EMI/EMC and qualification requirements are met.

U.S. citizenship is required and the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading architecture and direction for complex electronic and embedded systems.
• Strong background in digital/analog design and power electronics.
• Experience with Altium, Cadence, SPICE or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical architectures and technical direction for products and platforms.
• Lead complex electronic, embedded and ruggedized product development.
• Drive mixed-signal, digital, analog and power electronics design.
• Lead schematic, PCB, system integration, EMI/EMC and qualification activities.
• Solve complex technical challenges and lead design reviews.
• Influence product strategy, technology investment and roadmaps.
• Champion engineering standards and mentor senior technical talent.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to drive future capability.
