Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking a Principal EEG Technologist for a part-time role in our telemetry EEG lab. The successful candidate will perform routine and long-term EEG setups with minimal supervision and contribute to data review for physician interpretation.

You may rotate to other UCLA sites as needed and support Adult, Pediatric, ICU, and portable EEG studies. Prior EEG experience and ABRET pathway eligibility are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• R. EEG T. Certification – required for Senior and Principle Tech
• BLS Certification – required for all Tech positions
• Eligible for an ABRET EEG Pathway through a Neurodiagnostic program

Responsibilities

• Capable of performing routine and long-term EEG setup with minimal supervision
• Describe EEG findings in a review style format to assist physicians
• Flexible to learn new protocols (Adult/Pediatric Telemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, Portable Studies)
• Support at Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley Medical Center Hospitals
