Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Principal EEG Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform EEG and EP acquisitions, apply artifact detection, and contribute to advanced monitoring across procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

At this level, lead lab activities, guide junior staff, and adapt to evolving protocols. ABRET credentials (R.EEG T. and CNIM) must be maintained; continuing education is encouraged to stay current.

Qualifications

• ARBRET certification (R.EEG T. and/or CNIM) - required for senior/principal level techs
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• Second ABRET certification - preferred

Responsibilities

• Master EEG/EP acquisition techniques and artifact detection.
• Explain EEG/EP findings to junior staff; lead lab areas.
• Support intra-operative monitoring and stay current with advances in the field.
