Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency, or on-track to graduate in the summer.
• Board certified by the ABFM or AOBFP or on track to sit for Boards.
• Virginia medical license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Family Medicine residents in ambulatory and inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Lead, develop, and deliver required residency curriculum and didactics.
• Complete resident evaluations, feedback, and competency assessments.
• Participate in residency meetings and educational activities.
• Engage in ongoing scholarly activity and QI projects.
• Advise and mentor residents on quality improvement, patient safety, and research.
• Support resident academic development and program accreditation activities.
• Act as general advisor and mentor for resident wellness and career planning.
