Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated, technical leader to design, drive, and operationalize firmware and software architecture for next‑generation edge products, collaborating with HW/SW teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of architecture experience and a proven track record delivering scalable, debuggable platforms at the SW/HW interface for accelerators such as GPUs, DPUs, or FPGAs.

Qualifications

• Requires BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years in system architecture and design.
• Deep experience designing scalable, performant edge systems at SW/HW interface.
• Experience with accelerators (GPUs/DPUs/FPGA) and complex system software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform workflows, including firmware and software extensibility for product designs, debug and production security.
• Collaborate with SW/FW architects, HW Designers, ISV/IHV partners to define platform requirements for scalable, reusable designs.
• Champion reliability, debuggability and optimization in firmware, diagnostic and deployment tool design.
• Engage in pre-silicon platform design through to product production.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams to grow future leaders.
• Make key technical decisions even when faced with ambiguity
