Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an experienced Software Integration Lead Engineer to drive end-to-end ECU integration across vehicle programs. This role serves as the primary focal point between embedded engineering teams and stakeholders, coordinating software, hardware, and validation activities to ensure readiness and milestone achievement.

You will establish schedules, manage dependencies, and push for timely delivery of ECUs for test activities, pilot builds, and production launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product development, embedded systems, system integration, or technical program/project management.
• Experience with embedded systems, ECUs, or vehicle electronics architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration leadership for ECUs across vehicle programs.
• Serve as the primary integration focal point for embedded engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Drive coordination across software, hardware, electrical, validation, and vehicle teams.
• Establish and maintain integration schedules with critical path and dependencies.
• Track on-time delivery of ECUs for test activities, pilots, and production.
• Identify and escalate integration risks and interface gaps.
• Facilitate cross-functional integration reviews and readiness checkpoints.
• Develop processes, tools, reports, and best practices for ECU integration management.
• Challenge engineering teams on designs and assumptions.
