Job summary

Kettering Health Hamilton in Hamilton, OH seeks a Lead Echo Vascular Tech to perform advanced echocardiographic and vascular ultrasound procedures and to guide the imaging team in daily workflow. This full-time, first-shift role supports regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Eligible candidates have an RDCS/RVT certification, an associate degree in sonography or equivalent, and 3+ years of clinical experience. On-call responsibilities may apply as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent required.
• Three years of clinical echocardiography/vascular ultrasound experience.
• RDCS or RVT certification required; BLS at hire.
• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflow for the echo vascular imaging team and coordinate with departments.
• Perform advanced echocardiographic and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Provide informal guidance and training to technologists and staff.
• Monitor image quality and ensure regulatory compliance and QA.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document procedures and patient information in the EHR.
• Participate in departmental meetings and process improvements.
• Resolve technical or workflow issues within the imaging team.
