Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging across patient care teams. You will help evaluate heart and vascular function, ensuring accurate results and timely documentation in EMR systems.

The role involves operating ultrasound equipment safely, coordinating with multiple departments, and maintaining patient comfort and safety while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular imaging.
• RDCS or RVT certification preferred or BCLS required.
• Basic understanding of echocardiography and vascular imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures following protocols.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and maintains cleanliness.
• Documents procedures and findings in EMR accurately.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers across departments to coordinate patient care.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assists in scheduling, preparing, and positioning patients for imaging.
