Ardent Health Services is hiring a full-time Lead Echocardiography Lab Tech for day shifts in Amarillo, TX. This role involves performing echocardiograms for patients of all ages and leading the Echocardiography Department's daily operations.

• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms for patients of all ages.

• Be available for overtime and call back as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiogram procedures for all ages by utilizing imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
• Subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
• Lead Echo Tech will coordinate all job functions for the day-to-day operations of the Echocardiography Dept.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Echocardiography Registry – ARDMS or CCI
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Allied Health degree in performing Echocardiography studies
• Three to five years of Echocardiography experience
