Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor a classroom, implement the curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging learning environment. You will connect with families to support children's growth and collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience, a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, and a Bachelor’s in ECE. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
• CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years of early childhood education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred; meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Fluent English communication with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum in alignment with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children’s development and education.
• Support center success by helping with enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
