Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is hiring a dedicated Teacher in California to lead classrooms, mentor colleagues, and deliver our curriculum while partnering with families to support child growth and confidence. The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and high-quality early education across diverse communities.

You’ll collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment goals, maintain program quality, and participate in ongoing professional development within a recognized workplace.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational ability.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; work with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
