KinderCare Learning Companies in Redmond, OR is hiring teachers to nurture confident learners in our early education centers. You’ll deliver KinderCare’s curriculum, create a safe, engaging classroom, and partner with families to support each child’s growth and enrollment goals.

We value CDA credentials or NAEYC candidacy, a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education if available, and a willingness to obtain state qualifications.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum consistently with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success; collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
