Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Early Childhood preferred, or an Associate in Childhood Development with 5 years preschool experience.
• Must be fluent in English; Keres language speaker preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening; annual physical exam.
• First Aid/CPR certification and Food Handlers training required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teacher works in the classroom with children and families throughout the school year.
• Create a learning environment that fosters growth and development in early childhood settings.
• Incorporate weekly lesson plans and institute them into instruction.
• Encourage parent volunteerism in the classroom and conduct child screenings.
• Perform evaluations, referrals, and follow-up; coordinate with other teachers for program consistency.
