Job summary

The Child Care Teacher at our Neenah Early Learning Center, part of Young Child Development Center, Inc., plans and carries out a daily program to nurture and meet the physical and developmental needs of a group of young children. The role requires licensing/YoungStar compliance and strong communication with families.

You will work with a dedicated staff to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that fosters growth in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Professional preparation as a teacher of young children.
• Meet licensing and YoungStar requirements.
• Ability to assess and supervise individual children's needs.
• Familiarity with Pyramid Model and YoungStar guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows center educational philosophy in daily activities.
• Maintains a safe, healthy environment and promotes self-help skills.
• Completes required health and safety reporting; complies with licensing rules.
• Manages time, punctuality and attendance.
• Supervises and guides children using approved care practices.
• Works with staff to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Communicates clearly with parents and builds family relationships to include the family.
