Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire and guide a classroom of young learners in our Florida center. You will model best practices, deliver the KinderCare curriculum with sensitivity to each child, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment that supports exploration and growth.

You will partner with families, share progress, and work with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CDA Credential or candidacy is required or in progress.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
