Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an experienced lead teacher to guide and mentor classroom staff while delivering the approved curriculum and fostering a nurturing learning environment. You will engage with families to support each child’s growth, ensure safety, and participate in center collaborations to promote enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading, writing, speaking for parent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to fit each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child development and education.
