Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide fellow educators in a caring, child-centered environment in Nashville. You will implement our curriculum while tailoring activities to each child’s unique needs and ensuring a safe, engaging space for learning through play.

You will partner with families and center staff to achieve enrollment and accreditation goals, fostering strong relationships with communities and licensing authorities.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
