Job summary

KinderCare in Nashua, NH seeks a Lead Teacher to guide classroom teams and model best practices. You will lead, coach and mentor teachers, and ensure the KinderCare curriculum supports each child's development.

In this role, you create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning, partner with parents to share progress, and collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with strong communication.
• Well organized with ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in early childhood education settings preferred; CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy preferred.
• State trainer credentials (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
