Job summary

KinderCare in Lacey, WA seeks a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to lead and mentor classroom staff, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space. You will collaborate with families and center leadership to support enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.

Applicants should have CDA or higher, 2–3 years ECE experience, and a strong patient, patient-centric approach to early childhood education. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High-quality customer service and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required or pursued.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
