Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated classroom leader to guide and mentor less experienced teachers, implementing our curriculum while tailoring activities to each child's needs. This role fosters a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational ability.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education.
• Support center success with enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
