Job summary

The Learning Experience - Billerica, MA is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher in early childhood education to lead a high-quality classroom and implement developmentally appropriate experiences.

We welcome Infant-Toddler and Preschool educators and offer a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay of $23-$25 per hour, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher.
• Infant-Toddler, Preschool, or multiple age-group qualifications welcomed.
• Professional early childhood classroom experience required.
• Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-quality early childhood classroom.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support children's cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development.
• Create positive classroom routines and use consistent positive guidance.
• Observe and document children's development.
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers.
• Communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain classroom quality, safety, and organization; follow Massachusetts EEC requirements.
