Job summary

Acap Me is seeking a dedicated Teacher in Ellsworth, Maine, to plan and implement activities for a classroom of young children. The ideal candidate should have experience in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage parents in their children's learning.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience teaching young children in a center based program/home day care program.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Planning for individual needs.
• Establishing and maintaining safe, healthy learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and implements classroom activities and field trips.
• Completes screenings and records observations of children.
• Coordinates and attends home visits.
