Job summary

SJB Child Development Centers in San Jose, California, is seeking a qualified individual responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the assigned classroom. This position requires compliance with SJB Curriculum, Policies & Procedures, and State and Federal Mandates. You will provide guidance to children and support to their families while ensuring a safe environment.

The ideal candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and possess a Master Teacher Permit. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills as you foster a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Three semester units in the care and development of infants required for those working with infants.
• Must pass a fingerprint clearance and criminal record check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming environment for children and families.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Complete daily health checks for children.
• Assist in scheduling classroom staff.
