Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Childcare Group Leader- Early Childhood to support the before and after school program with developmentally appropriate activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months of experience, and a satisfactory background check with a negative TB test. You will help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment and communicate with families as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience required.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and negative TB test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in before/after school program and activities.
• Prepare lesson plans and instruct using developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Create bulletin boards and classroom displays.
• Assist students with physical, emotional and educational needs.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and issues.
• Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Attend staff trainings and meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
