Qualifications

• Eight semester credits or 12 quarter credits in ECE or CD or 120 hours training.
• Possess a CDA credential or Montessori credential as applicable.
• Basic training and licensing requirements must be completed within stated timelines.
• High school diploma plus relevant child care experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily program activities and coordinate with the designated District administrator.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to support learning through play.
• Support children's language, creativity, movement, independence, and friendships.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, rest, toileting, and transitions.
• Provide patient guidance and coach staff accordingly.
• Schedule staff, arrange substitutes, and ensure qualified coverage.
• Help HR review applicants and confirm staff qualifications.
• Welcome and train new employees and orient WBL high school students.
• Maintain enrollment, attendance, health and confidential records.
• Communicate with families about children's needs and progress.
