Job summary

Mayo Clinic is inviting applications for open-rank faculty positions in Early Cancer Detection and Interception with leadership potential. Selected investigators will build large longitudinal cohorts, integrate genomics, AI, and clinical data across Mayo Clinic sites to transform early cancer detection and prevention.

Appointments may be based in Phoenix/Scottsdale or Rochester, with cross-site collaboration to advance translational science from discovery to clinical impact and to expand access

Qualifications

• Leadership in clinical and translational research.
• Experience in early cancer detection, cancer genomics, population health, or digital health innovation.
• Strong track record of peer-reviewed funding and publications.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead prospective cohorts of healthy and high-risk individuals to study cancer initiation and interception.
• Develop strategies to identify at-risk individuals and guide them to appropriate screening and prevention pathways.
• Integrate clinical, genomic, and longitudinal health data to monitor disease evolution and enable early intervention and clinical trials.
• Collaborate with Mayo Clinic Platform, AI Program, and other institutes to implement genomic sequencing initiatives and AI-based predictive algorithms.
