P.I.L.O.T. Services in Berlin, NJ is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional (Lead DSP) to provide hands-on support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and to lead staff within the home.

The role includes planning activities, documenting care in THERAP, coordinating schedules, and ensuring a safe, engaging living environment. Full-time hours with a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm shift and competitive pay are offered.

Formación

• Fingerprinting and background checks are required.
• Drug screening and MVR check required.
• CARI and Central Registry checks will be performed.
• Age 21+ and valid NJ driver's license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in DDD field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily support and supervision to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with personal care and promote independence in daily living skills.
• Transport individuals to community outings, appointments, and activities.
• Plan and participate in engaging activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, games, and outings.
• Support scheduling, shift coverage, and staff coordination.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation using THERAP and related systems.
• Collaborate with team to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
• Lead DSP staff and support Residential Manager in leadership moments.
