Job summary

Ignite Human Capital is recruiting a Process Engineer – Dry Etch to advance manufacturable, high-yielding dry etch processes for cutting-edge devices across aerospace, defense, bioelectronics, and high-speed communications. This hands-on role sits at the forefront of silicon photonics, influencing product performance and quality.

You will collaborate with integration and development teams, tune processes, and guide technicians while maintaining metrology-driven oversight and strict process

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on dry etch experience with RIE/DRIE/MRIE/ICP and microwave ashing.
• Experience with SPC, data extraction and metrology interpretation.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes and drive root-cause actions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with integration and development teams to tune dry etch processes for fab operation.
• Support new product/process introductions and ensure device performance.
• Guide process technicians through complex steps and validate results.
• Interpret metrology data and disposition lots per pass/fail criteria.
• Summarize metrology findings and report to teams; deliver shift pass-downs.
• Continuously improve wafer fabrication processes and yield.
• Maintain equipment knowledge, SOPs, and MES documentation.
• Monitor SPC and act on out-of-control events per procedures.
