The Junkluggers of Southeastern MA & RI is seeking Junk Removal Specialists to be the face of our company and provide exceptional customer service. You'll be involved in safe transport of junk, assist with training, and help maintain a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. This role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, while also offering opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing eco-friendly company.

Job Summary

Our Junk Removal Specialists are important front-line team members of our business. They are the face of the company to our valued customers. We build the Best Teams to deliver on our promises. Responsibilities

• Complete all jobs according to company standards, practices, and mission statement
• Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
• Assist in training new hires in subordinate roles
• Attend all mandatory training, meeting & events
• Daily truck safety inspections
• Help maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues
• Maintain and reinforce a safety culture at The Junkluggers
• Embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement ideas
• Provide operational support when needed, such as dispatching
• Engage with customers to facilitate purchase and drive value
• Serve as the point person in the field for both management and your fellow Luggers
• Participate in key grass roots marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must – this is a customer-facing role
• Ability to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly and efficiently
• Learn and master skills of both Navigator and Driver positions
• Ability to effectively utilize and manage resource locations (donation, recycling, and disposal centers) and use them efficiently
• Attention to detail in understanding truck operation, maintenance, and care
• Exhibit a strong safety attitude and be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policies
• Confident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to management
• Ability to influence and lead team(s) in the field and show potential for advancement
• Ability to work full-time, including some Saturdays
• Obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be able to commute to/from our location
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Supply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties)
