Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Lead Driver to oversee delivery and material transport operations for data center construction and operations. You will lead a team of drivers, perform hands-on driving and loading, and ensure safe, timely, and damage-free movement of high-value equipment between warehouses, vendor sites, and data centers.

The role combines leadership with hands-on duties, route coordination, and compliance oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
Valid Class A CDL.
3+ years of commercial driving experience with lead/supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of drivers; assign routes and ensure safe execution.
Load, drive, and unload materials using commercial vehicles while complying with regulations.
Safely load/unload trucks using forklifts; secure loads for damage-free delivery.
Scan barcodes and transact material movements in WMS/ERP systems.
Communicate issues, delays, or exceptions to supervisors and teams.
Maintain delivery documentation with accuracy and compliance.
Monitor vehicle condition, service records, and cleanliness; report problems.
Operate ELDs and maintain a safe driving record.
Support receiving, material handling, and inventory operations as needed.
Drive process improvements for efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
