Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Lead Driver to oversee driver teams and ensure safe, on-time delivery of food products across local routes. Responsibilities include coaching drivers, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement, and 2+ years of multi-stop route experience in food distribution. Monday–Friday, 3AM–5AM start times, $30–$33 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement.
• 2+ years of multi-stop route delivery experience in food service distribution.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT-compliant safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and report issues.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of customer orders under supervision of transportation leadership.
• Oversee and guide assigned driver teams, manage schedules, onboarding, and customer issue resolution.
• Load/unload freight, verify invoices, collect signatures, and handle required paperwork.
• Deliver according to route schedule and secure freight, returns, and equipment.
