Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring a Lead Driver/Driver Supervisor to oversee and guide driver teams on local and interstate routes, including shuttle operations. This role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, customer service, and efficient deliveries, with a start time between 3 AM and 5 AM and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles & triples endorsement, at least 2 years of route-delivery experience, and the ability to manage daily tasks, safety inspections, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multi-stop route delivery experience in tractor-trailer or similar equipment.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new health card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines; report hazards.
• Oversee and assist assigned drivers to ensure safe and timely deliveries.
• Inspect trailer loads, verify invoices, and secure freight.
• Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules.
• Unload, stock, and verify items at customer locations; obtain signatures and payments where required.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records per DOT and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping and complete necessary paperwork.
