Job summary

Cadogan Tate Chicago Limited is seeking a Lead Driver / Art Handler to lead removals, collections, deliveries and installations of personal effects, art and antiques under supervision. Coordinate installations and supervise crews on site.

We seek Movers with foreman experience, box truck driving, art handling and project management for large projects. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with some weekends; competitive hourly pay and excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Some years of experience in art handling and packing on local/interstate basis.
• Experience leading installations and on-site crews.
• Ability to manage paperwork and condition reporting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiar with OSHA policies and safety.

Responsibilities

• Collections and daily local/interstate deliveries and installations.
• Coordinate installation projects and lead a team on site.
• Handle art objects, antiques and fragile items with care.
• Prepare condition checks and reports as needed.
• Pack artworks and furniture for transport and storage.
• Train junior drivers and art handlers when required.
• Maintain on-site paperwork and trip manifests.
• Ensure vehicles are safe, clean and ready for daily use.
