Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Lead Drafter to join the Product Development team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role focuses on producing precise production drawings, maintaining BOMs, and supporting project teams across departments.

The Lead Drafter will drive drawing accuracy, coordinate with fellow drafters, and ensure documentation stays current with drafting standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of drafting experience.
• High school diploma with coursework or exposure to drafting fundamentals.
• One or more years of manufacturing assembly experience or drafting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer proficiency and experience with relevant drafting software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and complete production drawings, bills of material, tooled parts, layouts, and vendor drawings for assigned models and projects.
• Coordinate drawings and bills of material with other Drafters working on shared projects to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain current knowledge of drafting standards to ensure consistency throughout the drawing and documentation process.
• Maintain and organize production drawings and bills of material to ensure an accurate, accessible library of current documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
