Job summary

BCBSLA in Louisiana seeks a Lead Domain Architect to guide domain roadmaps and align with the enterprise strategy. You will balance business needs, data, security, and technology to enable reliable, scalable solutions while reducing technical debt.

You will collaborate with directors, solution architects, and vendors, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations while delivering architectural leadership across IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7 years technical leadership and hands-on technology implementation to include four years’ experience in software development, DevSecOps engineering, or systems administration and 3 years of technical architecture, or data management.
• Requires advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practice, ALM, software development best practices and standards, tools with extensive demonstrable experience in leading business application solution, design, and implementation of complex business initiatives.
• Ability to develop and maintain domain roadmaps and collaborate with solution architects and business owners.
• Excellent communication and ability to balance enterprise and functional needs while reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multiple domain roadmaps.
• Support of solution architects and collaboration with enterprise business architects.
• Transform business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Facilitate deep-dive technical discussions and stay current with industry trends.
• Provide architectural leadership by integrating web applications, relational databases, information security, servers, and networking.
• Evaluate new technologies and extend technology standards and methodologies.
