Anthropologie in New York City is seeking a Display Artist to collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager in crafting two- and three-dimensional displays that reflect discovery, creativity, diversity and authenticity. A portfolio or examples of your work is required for consideration.

You will lead on customer experience, mentor the team, and translate seasonal directions into highCraft displays and window installations.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships across teams.

• Artistic background with varied mediums.
• High craftsmanship level for two- and three-dimensional work.
• Experience with building, drafting, and power tools.
• Portfolio or examples of previous work required.
• Willingness to work early morning weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising Manager to create engaging displays reflecting current trends.
• Demonstrate how displays influence store sales and profitability.
• Engage customers on the sales floor and host workshops and events when possible.
• Mentor team by training visual standards and tool management.
• Attend store meetings and share inspiration from Home Office and Field Leadership.
• Proactively grow display experience and train future talent.
• Contribute to display planning by sharing ideas and sketches within budget.
• Install high craft interior and window displays and maintain back-of-house areas.
