Job summary

Vizient seeks a strategic Platform Product Leader to drive enterprise platform strategy, roadmap, and execution for scalable, AI‑first software delivery. You will partner with engineering, architecture, AI Delivery, security, and product leadership to set priorities and deliver capabilities that enhance developer productivity, governance, and adoption.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in product management or enterprise platform products.
  • Experience leading complex cross‑functional platform initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong technical fluency with architecture, data platforms, AI, IAM, governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach product managers on modern product management practices and AI tool adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the strategic vision, roadmap, and investment priorities for enterprise platform products.
  • Own the platform strategy for reusable rules, workflows, decisioning, routing, approvals, and orchestration capabilities that enable internal products and AI‑enabled tools to move from insight to action.
  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of workflow platforms, rules engines, business process automation, decisioning logic, orchestration, configuration platforms, and AI workflow enablement capabilities that support enterprise‑scale solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, AI Delivery, security, and product leadership to align platform capabilities with business and technology objectives and drive complex stakeholder alignment.
  • Establish clear decision frameworks for sequencing platform capabilities, reducing technical debt, increasing platform reuse, improving internal developer productivity, and enabling AI‑assisted development initiatives.
  • Measure and optimize platform success through outcomes such as platform adoption, governance, delivery efficiency, reduced delivery friction, faster product delivery, and AI‑first delivery maturity.
  • Facilitate executive stakeholder alignment on platform strategy, funding, dependencies, adoption expectations, and AI‑first operating model evolution while translating complex technical concepts into business‑focused recommendations.
  • Resolve competing priorities across platform consumers, engineering teams, AI Delivery, and strategic enterprise initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a small team of platform product professionals through coaching, mentoring, and performance development while establishing scalable product management standards, including discovery practices, roadmap development, success metrics, release planning, adoption strategies, and responsible AI tool usage.
  • Build durable partnerships across engineering, architecture, AI Delivery, security, design, and internal product teams to deliver enterprise platform capabilities.

You will influence enterprise technology decisions, guide platform product practices, and develop a high‑performing team while fostering a modern, AI‑enabled product management approach.

Qualifications
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in product management, technical product management, enterprise platform products, workflow platforms, rules engines, orchestration platforms, business process automation, decisioning logic, configuration platforms, enterprise SaaS, AI workflow enablement, or enterprise technology leadership.
  • Proven success leading complex cross‑functional platform initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders through complex stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience delivering enterprise platform capabilities that support reusable workflows, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows, routing, approvals, orchestration, and decisioning across multiple products.
  • Strong technical fluency with architecture, data platforms, AI, integrations, identity and access management, governance, internal developer platforms, and AI‑assisted or agentic development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach product managers on modern product management practices and effective AI tool adoption without creating unnecessary process overhead.
  • Experience influencing investment priorities, technical tradeoffs, internal adoption strategies, and AI‑first operating model decisions.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience developing scalable product management practices while maintaining a lean, high‑impact operating model.

Compensation

Estimated Hiring Range: $117,600.00 to $206,000.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
