Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Lead Director - Network Core Infrastructure Operations to join a leader in Healthcare. This remote role will drive enterprise network core infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security, directing design, maintenance, and optimization of core routing, switching, WAN, and LAN.

You will lead a team of engineers and partner across technology teams to strengthen network resilience, improve service quality, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise network infrastructure operations and engineering experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience (Nexus, Catalyst, ISR/ASR)
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• 3+ years managing core network services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) at enterprise scale
• 3+ years WAN/LAN experience across multi-site environments (MPLS and/or SD-WAN)

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, performance, and security of core routing and switching environments
• Oversee the design and maintenance of resilient WAN and LAN networks
• Manage routing and switching operations including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS
• Safeguard DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services for reliable address management
• Implement software-defined networking and SD-WAN capabilities
• Ensure comprehensive network monitoring and reporting
• Lead problem-solving initiatives for complex network issues

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Director - Network Core Infrastructure Operations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead enterprise network core infrastructure operations, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and security across critical connectivity services. The position will oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of core routing, switching, WAN, and LAN environments that support a large-scale healthcare organization. You will also partner across technology teams to strengthen network resilience, improve service quality, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $144,200 – $288,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, performance, and security of core routing and switching environments
