Job summary

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring Underground Telecom Foremen for the Groveland, FL area (Orlando vicinity). You will lead field crews and support the supervisor to meet project goals safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include directing crew activities, maintaining QA, and performing site surveys for estimates or proposals. Strong knowledge of conduit and fiber work, and equipment operation, is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
• Experience leading crews of 3–5 teammates.
• Experience in conduit placement, fiber placement, manhole and hand hole placement, cable and fiber pulling, and inside conduit work.
• Experience locating for directional drills.
• Equipment operating experience (directional drill, backhoe, mini excavator, trencher, plow, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads field crews on projects of varying sizes to meet goals safely.
• Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports.
• Monitors Quality Assurance to meet customer specs and industry standards.
• Ensures safety practices are observed by all teammates.
• Reports, coordinates, and supervises all project aspects.
• May conduct site surveys for estimates, proposals, or QA.
