Community Options, Inc. is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides in Rio Rancho, NM to provide person-centered care tailored to meet individuals' needs. No experience required — paid training provided.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with multiple shifts available. Join a team that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community-based activities, daily living support, and health monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations.
• Employment is contingent upon successful background checks and drug testing.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Support learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community.
• Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and timely.
• Build a support network by engaging with community members, businesses, and families.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections, inquiries, or investigations.
