Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Rio Rancho, NM is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides to provide person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required—we provide PAID training and opportunities for professional growth.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Shifts available across multiple times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Background checks, central registry, child abuse registry and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Assist with learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate with individuals in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community.
• Complete program documentation and billable records accurately and timely.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community members, businesses, and families.
