Job summary

Community Options, Inc in Totowa, NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff and Home Health Aides to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No experience required— we provide PAID training!

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, transportation, health monitoring, documentation, and community activities, with evening/weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities tailored to their ISP/PCP.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor health needs and report concerns promptly.
• Support development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and billable records.
