Job summary

Unity Bay is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to join the Arrowhead location, Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm. This full-time, on-site position supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home, with paid training provided.

Responsibilities include safety, daily living support, documentation, and coordinating staff duties to promote independence and a high quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required) and minimum age: 18
• One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, safety, and personal development while following agency policies.
• Transport individuals to activities and appointments, and assist with medications per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and document ISPs, MARs, and other required forms.
