Job summary

Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, seeks a Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Newton Group Home in Marlboro, NJ. The role requires leadership of DSP staff and ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with guardians and providers.

This full-time position offers evenings, a $19.00 hourly pay rate, and opportunities to mentor staff, promote person-centered services, and support residents in achieving independence and community

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience with behavioral health or intellectually disabled populations.
• Ability to complete background checks, drug screening, and required orientations and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, and meals.
• Support health, wellness, budgeting, and independence.
