Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional Lead in Fargo, ND who will empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live meaningful lives through direct care and dedicated support.

You will oversee the department, support residents to meet goals, and promote community participation while modeling leadership, compassion, and person-centered practices. A valid ND driver’s license and auto insurance are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's License in North Dakota required upon hire.
• Auto Insurance required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations across shifts and ensure essential duties are completed.
• Directly support residents to achieve personal goals and engage with the community.
• Demonstrate leadership, compassion, and person-centered care to foster independence and inclusion.
• Attend trainings and implement program plans, learning objectives, and supports.
• Document accurately in all applicable records and charts for people supported.
• Support integration into vocational and community activities and maintain a valid vehicle.
• Coach staff, monitor staffing, and ensure high-quality services are provided.
• Assist with department petty cash, procurement, and basic financial records.
