Located in Tucson, AZ, our Respite Program provides an interval of rest for individuals and their primary caregivers without disruption to their home environments. We serve individuals from birth to 17 years old who are experiencing moderate emotional or behavioral difficulties. Through the Respite program, kids enjoy group activities and go on field trips to museums, roller skating, movies, arcades, parks, and more! We operate out of residential houses, creating a fun and safe home-like environment for those in our care.
The Lead Direct Care Professional (Lead DCP) ensures the health and safety of individuals while assisting Program Coordinators with supervising, planning, and implementing program activities, and managing children’s behaviors. Lead DCPs serve as mentors and have fun with kids through various year-round activities. They assist with planning, implementing, and documenting activities tailored to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals in the Respite Program. This position also functions as a role model, mentor, leader, and trainer to the Direct Care Professional staff.
Pay Range: $18 - $19.80 / hr
Part-Time Weekend Schedule: 12-hour shifts; must be available every Saturday and at least two Sundays per month.
